How availability works

An honest answer before you commit

We do not answer from a map. Whether we can support you depends on a few practical things, which we go through with you in a short conversation.

Your addressWhich city or community you are in, and how far the visit is.
Your hoursThe days and times you need, from a weekday morning to an evening for caregivers.
StaffingWho is available in your area at those times. We will not promise a start date before we talk.

Clear about how support is paid for

Families across Alberta come to us with FSCD, PDD or Family Managed Services in place, with CDHCI, or paying privately. Bring what you have and we will talk it through.

Does Avelora Life serve my community?

We can review communities across North, Central, South, East and West Alberta. Tell us where you live and we will confirm availability, hours and staffing before you rely on it.

Where is Avelora Life based?

Our office is at 10060 Jasper Ave, Unit 2020, Tower 1, Edmonton. Most conversations start by phone, text or email, and we confirm any in-person details with you.

Do I need to live in one of the ten cities?

No. The ten city pages are the places we hear from most. We also talk with families in nearby towns, and we will tell you honestly whether we can help.

How soon can support start?

We cannot promise a date before we talk. Start dates depend on location, schedule, staffing and funding, and we will be straightforward about what is possible.

Is the support medical?

No. Avelora Life provides non-medical support such as respite, companionship, community participation and daily living help. We do not provide emergency services.
